About Us
Flash Photo was first opened in 1984 in Scytheville Row.
It later moved to the New London Shopping Center and expanded in size.
Then on June 1st, 2006 it was purchased by local residents Al Myers and Jake Mical.
Al Myers began his career in photography retail, working for a midwestern photography chain. He started working at Flash Photo in 2003.
Jake Mical worked as a reporter and photographer for his college's newspaper before joining Flash Photo's sports photography department in 2001.
Both believe that customer service should continue to be Flash Photo's number one priority. They are also happy to share their expertise. All the staff at Flash Photo enjoy answering questions and assisting with a photography or printing project.
A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed in the deepest sense, and is, thereby, a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety.
Our store is an exciting place filled with photography enthusiasts. We're also pleased with our new store design. It adds to the satisfied customer experience that we strive for.
